Three-day eventing is alive & well in Ocala, Florida. The equine sporting event has been gaining tremendous steam over the past ten years. This spring, all eyes are on the Ocala Horse Properties, LLC International Three Day Event in Ocala, Florida. Held April 15th - 18th, this is the final tune-up for Olympic veterans & world champion hopefuls before they head off to The Rolex Four Star Event beginning the following week. The Rolex Four Star competition this year has an even greater meaning, as it will be the event used to select members of the 2010 United States World Championship team. The team chosen will represent the United States at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky from September 25 - October 10, 2010. A good showing at the Ocala Horse Properties, LLC International Three Day Event is crucial as a confidence-builder for those riders vying for a spot on the USA World Championship Team.

Ocala Horse Properites, LLC is the title sponsor of the Ocala Eventing Series operated by Ocala, Florida-based EquiVentures. The series has been running since November 2009, and the April show is the culmination of the Florida eventing season. Ocala Horse Properties, LLC is owned by twin brothers Chris & Rob Desino. The Ocala Horse Properties, LLC International Three Day Event has had record attendance this year and this final event of the season is expected to be no different. The Florida Horse Park is located in southern Ocala off HWY 475, about 1 mile north of HWY 484.
