Did all the right things to make our selling experience the best. One day last summer, Lisa and I met with Chris on our back porch. We talked about farms, markets, horses, and the Desinos. Impressed, but cautious, we gave Chris the listing. We were hopeful, but then again we read the news. Ten days later we had a signed contract. Two weeks later, Rob had completed all inspections, appraisals, and releases. We have bought, built, and sold more than a few homes and farms and in fact, I have been in the building industry for more than 30 years. Rob and Chris are bright, well spoken and did all the right things to make our selling experience the best. In fact, in about nine months, we would like to have Rob and Chris over to our back porch again.
The entire selling experience with Rob and Chris was simply exceptional. Their collective market knowledge of properties sold or currently listed, as well their firsthand knowledge of potential buyers in the marketplace, was terrific and provided us the insight to price our property appropriately. For us, they made the selling process wonderfully simple. It took just a few weeks to show the property several times and get it into contract. They know the Ocala horse property market far better than any other realtor we’ve come across. We were also comforted by the fact they competitively ride horses, live on a farm and appreciate the finer points of well-planned and well-maintained horse properties, which they can then effectively convey to potential buyers.
They also did a superb job of handling the selling process post contract signing. There are always lots of little steps in a sale and they made the process incredibly easy for us. They completely handled the on-site meetings with inspectors, appraisers, and the like. We were also kept very well informed along the way, something we find extremely important. They represented our interests very ably throughout the entire process for that we thank them. Rob and Chris exuded confidence and as a result of that and their professionalism, the sale program from listing to closing was very low stress. We couldn’t have been more happy with their work. We would absolutely use them again.

CHRIS & ROB, I just wanted to thank you once again for helping me to find my dream property. As an out-of-town buyer looking for a place to unwind occasionally from the stress of life, I had imagined it might be yet another stressful event, finding and purchasing an Ocala horse property. It was far from stressful and, honestly, was quick, painless, and even fun! I recall the weekend I came to Ocala to look at the properties you had chosen as meeting my “desires list,” and I distinctly remember Chris telling me he thought the last one on our tour list was going to be “the one.” Oh my gosh, were you right! The minute we pulled into the drive, it hit me that this was the picture of my dream property… the perfect place for me! From that point, the transaction remained flawless (and easy for me), with the contract coming together quickly, the required inspections/survey, etc. being completed rapidly (thank you for taking care of all this while I was at home in Dallas) and we were actually ready to close early! My husband and I love the magazine (Ocala Magazine) and based on the article “Double Agents” and their website, we made an appointment with Chris and Rob Desino. We spent four days with the twins and as a result of their expertise, we purchased 10 acres in Paradise Farms.
Chris and Rob Desino are the best ambassadors of the Ocala Equine community anyone could hope for. We are looking forward to living in the are in the coming years, and thank you for getting it all started.
ABOVE AND BEYOND! We bought our Ocala property via Chris and Rob a year and a half ago, and cannot express enough how thrilled we were with their dedication and professionalism to our satisfaction. Obviously buying the right farm for us was a very big decision, as not only is it our home, but our business; so we were very cautious about our decision. The Desinos took our requirements into consideration and did their utmost to find us the perfect location, then made sure the sale went through without a hitch. That alone would have been enough to make us happy, but the Desinos went above and beyond their job to help us find the right contractors that would help us complete our needs. They then stood behind their recommendations and ensured that we were happy with everyone involved even though it clearly wasn’t their problem to deal with.
If and when we ever buy another property, I can guarantee it will be with the assistance of the Desinos and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to either buy or sell their Ocala property, as I cannot believe you would find anyone better or more helpful.
