Varney got another first-hand sneak peek of the magnificent World Equestrian Center at an exclusive Open House on Monday, Dec. 7.
“I’ve visited the World Equestrian Center Ocala just a few months ago and multiple times throughout the construction, and my wife Courtney and I were again immensely impressed.”
As horse people who have competed and visited arenas around the world, Matt says that they were taken back by the thoughtfulness put into the design and flow of the grounds.
“It’s a large venue and the scale is extremely impressive,” Varney says. “But, what’s more, is that it’s very clear that the health and wellbeing of both horse and rider have been prioritized here.”
During the open house, special guests like the Ocala Horse Properties team, were able to tour the grounds, experience the restaurants and explore the barns and showgrounds.
“It was really fun to see the lights on as the sun set,” Matt says.
This new community asset is as much for the sportsman as it is for the spectator.
What is also unique to the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Marion County’s horse country, is that both amateur and professional, local, national and international horses and competitors can come here to compete in this setting.
