World Equestrian Center Ocala Rolls Out Expanded Website and 2021 Show Schedule!

Eleven months and counting until the official grand opening of the World Equestrian Center in Ocala! The World Equestrian Center Ocala has officially released their expanded website and 2021 show schedule to include 12 weeks of USEF hunter/jumper competition running January 5 to March 28, 2021. Prize money for the weekly events is anticipated to top $400,000 per week with overall circuit money and prizes projected to reach nearly $5 million dollars!


For the past several years, Ocala Horse Properties, area residents and equestrian enthusiasts have been hungry for more information on the new World Equestrian Center in Ocala. With the roll out of their new website and show schedule, visitors now can access information on this massive new destination including; featured accommodations, resort amenities, details on the competition show grounds, expanding real estate opportunities, anticipated show schedule, and early bookings for stall reservations.

Promising to be the largest equestrian venue in the United States, the new Ocala World Equestrian Center (WEC) boasts a line up of multi-discipline divisions on the 4000+ acre campus, which is adjacent to Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club. The centerpiece of the expansive venue will be a luxury 5* resort, with 254 large suites, fine dining options and over 100,000 square feet of carefully curated shopping. In addition to the centralized resort, there is a variety of other lodging choices, including RV hookups and the construction of future rental properties. Plans are underway to develop the World Equestrian Estates, an adjacent neighborhood of small farms at Golden Ocala.

The massive show grounds will offer 17 all weather and grass outdoor arenas, 2 grand outdoor arenas with stadium seating for over 11,000 spectators, 4 indoor arenas, a full service vet clinic, over 2000 climate controlled stalls in their fully equipped barns, a multitude of dining and shopping options, as well as plenty of trails for hacking.

In addition to the USEF recognized classes, the WEC also promises to hold classes for the locally rated competitor, AQHA and other multi-discipline exhibitors. There will be something for everyone at the World Equestrian Center Ocala!
